maintains many different types of floors. Here are a couple samples and
our
maintenance guide which describes our different
levels of floor maintenance.
Waxable flooring (Stained Concrete, V.C.T. Tile)
Daily:
Sweep and with a clean mop and use a neutral cleaner.
Weekly,
Monthly or as needed:
Restore - Remove minor scuffs and bring back the shine.
(Sweep, Mop with neutral cleaner, mop with restorer, buff and final sweep)
Quarterly
or as needed:
Scrub and Wax - Remove larger scuffs and add wax.
(Sweep, mop out solution, scrub with low speed scrubber and a blue pad,
mop clean and apply two coats of wax.)
Annually
or as needed:
Strip and Wax - When floor is excessively scuffed and dull.
(Sweep, mop out stripping solution, scrub with blue pad, rinse and clean
apply four coats of wax)
Do's and
Don'ts
1. Don't mop with an ammoniated cleaner, it will eat the wax.
2. Don't scrape objects on the floor, it will scratch the wax.
3. Do put entrance mats, walk off mats or area rugs in strategic areas.
4. Do sweep and mop on a regular basis.
Daily:
Sweep and mop with a neutral cleaner.
Spray
Buff:
As needed in replacement of restore. (Sweep, mop, apply spray buff and
buff to a brilliant shine)
